Your Teacher

A world citizen, born in Salamanca, Spain, a city home to Spain’s oldest and most famous university dedicated to teaching the pure Spanish language. For more than 20 years now I have been teaching Spanish to non Spanish speakers.

It all started in France, where I was living for over 12 years. There I graduated Hispanic Philology and began working as a Spanish High School (Private College) teacher. Moving back to Spain, I joined the educational team of one of the best and very successful colleges teaching Spanish for foreigners in Salamanca, until I got “The Call from the South” and I moved to Cadiz, in the south of Spain. Here I was working as a Spanish Teacher in a few best known local colleges until finally I decided to work independently in order to be able to offer the type of classes I have always been desiring to teach, with my own methods and own materials, doing it all “my way”.

Working freelance means my business model adapts according to the latest technological developments. I am using a wide range of cloud based online solutions for a modern, interactive and more effective way to teach Spanish – Which is the best way of learning languages in this day and age.

We all want to speak the language when we travel, but how shall we learn if we never “dive deep enough”? Of course there are some applications that will help you learn some standard expressions.
I am challenging you by offering much more: the tools and the techniques for being able to freely and easily speak Spanish and express yourself through the language.

By all means, my objective is to enable the communication, based on correct grammatical structures. We all talk because we want to communicate, and for me, there is no greater reward than watching a student being able to say what he/she wants to say and in the very moment they wants to say it.

Learning a language can be compared to gaming – the better you know the rules, the higher your chances are to win.

I speak more than four languages and the process of learning a language brings me so much joy. I still continue to improve the languages that I speak, and want to start learning another one soon. Learning other languages is fundamental in order to analyse and understand some of my students´ mistakes and errors, this way I can better guide my students in their learning process.
